The Youth Production Contest recognizes an individual whose cow reaches the highest deviation from herdmates within a 305-day period. To be eligible, the cow must have calved within the past year and have completed the lactation entered in the contest.

My name is Emily Button, I grew up on my family's dairy located in Rushville, New York. Our farm has always had lots of Swiss, and I fell in love with them at a young age. I love going to shows and working with them on a daily basis. I am currently attending SUNY Morrisville, working towards a bachelor’s in Dairy Management. In my free time, I help with the operations of the college's Dairy Club and its many activities, such as the annual ‘Magic of Morrisville’ Autumn Review Sale. After graduation I hope to return to my home farm.
